Could I be a musician?

I have a pretty good voice (it's kind of edgy/ jazzy and everyone
who's heard it has loved it) and I know how to play a little guitar, a
little piano, and I'm going to be teaching myself the drums soon. I
don't have a band, mainly because I don't want to be obnoxious and
tell everyone I'm a musician in search of a guitarist, bassist, a
drummer, and a special effects person. I write lyrics a lot and have
improved very much over the years-I compare my songs to famous ones
and my songs are just as good. I am unique in both my lyrics and
style. I guess I just want to know if you guys think I could make it
in the music world. I'm really outgoing, deep, determined,
charismatic, and funny when I set my mind to it. Could I be an
alternative rock musician?
I just don't want to annoy people by being all 'oh I'm so cool I'm
such an awesome musician you should really read/ listen to my stuff
and join'. That's just not me. But I know a bunch of people who are
and they'd get my name out there.
wow I didn't mean to offend anyone or anything sorry lol thanks for
your honest opinions though. and for your information I don't normally
praise myself-I'm normally the one tearing myself down and just when i
got the confidence to see my good characteristics you guys did my old
job so thanks;) and i will make it in spite of whatever you say i just
wanted to see what you guys think but now Ive decided that doesnt
matter so thanks for that second push-_-
