_The upcoming plans for the auteur_ This afternoon at Comic-Con, Robert Rodriguez appeared to introduce his new company Quick Draw and talk a little bit about his upcoming plans. And the good news is that he also shared a little about the state of the union on films he's been talking about for a while. First up, following Machete's strong DVD performance, Rodriguez has had a green light on Machete Kills, the sequel, and is optimistic that he'll be able to follow that with Machete Kills Again, which will be a a space opera with a machete-shaped lightsaber. To see a badass Mexican in space is really rare in science fiction. We're at least going to shoot a trailer for that and put it in front of Machete Kills. And because some film projects never quite die, what news on Sin City 2? Frank has written a script for Sin City 2. It's called A Dame To Kill For. We're following the structure of the first film with 3 stories and a wrap-around. There's two new stories in there; one is called The Long Bad Night. It could be shot as early as this year - this is the closest we've been and if it's going to happen, it's going to happen this year. I'd love to do that in 3D, because I have an idea to do that in a way that 3D hasn't been used before. He also explained his plans for Spy Kids 4, out this summer. Spy Kids 4 is out next month. That's going to be in 4D, and that means there's going to be scratch-and-sniff. This stuff smells amazing. There are 8 instances during the movie where a number will flash on the screen and you then smell that. Some of those are pretty good and some are very wrong. Even if you're not a kid you're going to have fun. I did this with Ricky Gervais and Joel McHale so it's not just for kids. Meanwhile, his Quick Draw Productions will be overseeing a film based on Heavy Metal magazine, another anthology piece that Rodriguez has now taken over (David Fincher had it a couple of years back). Rodriguez also announced the opening of a Frank Frazetta museum to display the cult artist's masterworks permanently, which will be based in Austin, Texas. More excitingly for those of us not in the Lone Star State, they've also started to work on a Frank Frazetta film with different artists creating landscapes and scenes in the distinctive Frazetta style. First up, Fire And Ice and if that works, Death Dealer. We saw a selection of pre-production art, which consisted basically of women who aspire one day to be scantily clad and men rich in muscle and fantastical landscapes and gi-normous beasties and yet more women with large bosoms barely tethered by strings with pretensions to bikini-dom. It was kinda cool, if you like that sort of thing. Superman: Red Son is a three-issue prestige format comic book
mini-series published by DC Comics that was released under their
Elseworlds imprint in April 2003. Author Mark Millar created the comic
with the premise "what if Superman had been raised in the Soviet
Union?" It received critical acclaim and was nominated for the 2004
Eisner Award for best limited series.The story mixes alternate
versions of DC super-heroes with alternate-reality versions of real
political figures such as Joseph Stalin and John F. Kennedy. The
series spans approximately 1953-2001 save for a futuristic epilogue.In
Red Son Supermans rocket ship lands on a Ukrainian collective farm
rather than in Kansas an implied reason being a small time difference
(a handful of hours) from the original timeline meaning Earths
rotation placed the Ukraine in the ships path instead of Kansas.
Instead of fighting for "...truth justice and the American Way"
Superman is described in Soviet radio broadcasts "...as the Champion
of the common worker who fights a never-ending battle for Stalin
socialism and the international expansion of the Warsaw Pact." His
"secret identity" (i.e. the name his adoptive parents gave him)

I'm looking for a tear-jerking romantic film. I have a very high
standard when it comes to films. Typical chick flicks with bad acting
are a no.

For example I don't like "The Notebook" or "P.S. I Love You" or "500
days of summer."

I have a pretty good voice (it's kind of edgy/ jazzy and everyone
who's heard it has loved it) and I know how to play a little guitar, a
little piano, and I'm going to be teaching myself the drums soon. I
don't have a band, mainly because I don't want to be obnoxious and
tell everyone I'm a musician in search of a guitarist, bassist, a
drummer, and a special effects person. I write lyrics a lot and have
improved very much over the years-I compare my songs to famous ones
and my songs are just as good. I am unique in both my lyrics and
style. I guess I just want to know if you guys think I could make it
in the music world. I'm really outgoing, deep, determined,
charismatic, and funny when I set my mind to it. Could I be an
alternative rock musician?
I just don't want to annoy people by being all 'oh I'm so cool I'm
such an awesome musician you should really read/ listen to my stuff
and join'. That's just not me. But I know a bunch of people who are
and they'd get my name out there.

Ok i dont remember too much about this movie, i watched it only once
as a kid.

Its got a goonies type feel to it. Its about a little girl who just
moved to a new town. and makes a friend with some other little girl.
Now they go on an adventure in some dangerous cave to find the
treasure of one of the little girls irish relatives. or something like
that. I have no freakin idea but its gonna drive me nuts until i
figure it out. ha thanks

Thor: Great action film, not much plot but still enjoyable.
X-men first class: A nice pleasant surprise, it's in my favourites and
I really enjoyed it, high chance of it being my favourite at the end
of the year
Super 8: Nice surprise too, entertaining, can't figure out if its a
family film or an action film for teens, but I'll probably put it in
2011's best at the end of the year

My main problem is tht my friend is taking a couple of friends
(including me) to the movies today to watch transformers 3(for his
birthday) but in 2d. I heard tht this is one is one of those movies
you gotta c in imax and I really want to. I tried making it subtle by
asking him if the showtime is the 3d version or not and he said no but
we could go if we brought our own money, at tht point I said 2d's
fine. idk wht to do I'm actually okay with coughing up the extra money
but I don't wanna make him feel like I'm ruining birthday plans or
nything. The other kid said it really doesn't matter to him.

X-Men: First Class is a 2011 American superhero movie directed by Matthew Vaughn. Based on the heroes appearing in Marvel Comics, it is a prequel to the X-Men movie set. The movie is about primarily in 1962 through the Cuban Missile Crisis and focuses on the connection between Professor X and Magneto and then the origin of their groups, the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants. The movie super stars James McAvoy as Professor X and Michael Fassbender as Magneto. In the winter of 1942-43, a Jewish family leaps from a train going
through Silesia. They are separated in the woods, and Leon, a local
peasant who's now a farmer of some wealth, discovers the woman, Rosa,
and hides her in his cellar. Leon's a middle-aged Catholic bachelor,
tormented by his sexual drive. He doesn't tell Rosa he's seen signs
